I find it a bit odd that the two most popular or should i say, widly used forms of putting a person to death are hanging and lethal injection and after lots of practice we still dont get it right... The world collectively spent about 1.5 trillion thats right 1.5 trillion(we spend around 500 billion ourselves)in research and development and construction of more efficient ways to kill one another under the guise of "DIFENSE" You would think with that investment there would not be a problem eleminating a couple of condemned men. Calf. and Florida both have botched their most recent lethal injections the one in florida was because they arent "required" to use doctors so a guard performs the injection. He missed the vein and it took two attemps and 45 min to do the deed. Now,in Irag, you would really think after Saddams debockle... his brother had his head torn off during the hanging(miscalculated amount of rope)... If there is anyone, out there who is still in favor of the death penalty, you too must die! Why, because if you believe to kill someone who has killed an innocent person is right then if or should i say when(its allready happend before)they exicute an innocent person you killed someone who was innocent therefor you must be put to death....... think about it

I cant help wondering, after watching the pomp an cicumstance of the state funeral for Gerald Ford. Would this great man and server of people be happy with the way he was celebrated and rememberd? The enormous cost of todays events,est to be in the 10s of millions..........would his life not have even more a benifit to mankind and had those millions gone to helping just one of the many of todays causes,that are in badly need of those funds? The greatest gift i got this holiday, was a gift from a friend, katie, she made a donation in my name to help children in Afganistan... only true enemies do not come together when not on the battlefield... A couple of speakers during and after the ceremony,stated how nice it was,and a tibute to who Gerald Ford was and stood for. That as they looked out at the crowd it was nice that republicians and demecrates were seated next to one another!!! Hello, its not like that should be even a consideration or have been pointed out. They are two differnt parts or players on the same team, no different than off and def on a football team. its as if they looked out and saw, the kkkk and Jesse Jackson seated next to one another. Most combatants, in sports, business, and any true non enemy, dont seperate unless in their arena or on the field. I guess our house of reps refer to each other as "enemy- combatants"
