There comes a time in every President or Presidential candidates life were they stand at a "fork in the road" and must make a decision that will alter not only them but the course of history. They never know when it will come or what vehicle brought them to that very spot in time and history. Barrack Obama has just turned the corner and there before him lies that fork. So much is riding on what path he takes. One path clearly appears much easier, but just out of sight, that road ends. The other is visibly bumpier, marked with potholes and the shoulder is a cliff that drops off into the abyss. But, if it's choosen, that road will eventually level off, the deep potholes will fill, the shoulders once marked as danger, will become lined with great white pillars that rise up and disappears into the sky, the once treacherous path is now an expressway paved in Gold leading to the promise land and the big house on the hill. Which choice will he take? I Have watched him intently since his speech at the Democratic convention, which many believe was his introduction, and done to test both him and the waters. He made an impression and the rest is history leading us to today. His relationship and association with a church, headed by a Radical preacher, he himself has called, "His Spiritual mentor and leader" is now in question. Recently released video of pastor Jeremiah Wright ranting that The Good old US of A should not be blessed but damned! That America should be called KKK of America, That the Jews are ruining the world. That Aids and the horrors of 9/11 are both government plots! That America is run by rich whites(OK so he has a point here) that keep the Black population down. Then to put a nice topper on it, he said, "Lewis Farrakhan should get a noble prize!"and then his church gave L. Farrakhan a life time achievement award. Ok now, Barrack has released a statement, stating that he doesn't agree with all the pastors statements. That many he heard for the first time. He said he has been an active member of this church for 20 yrs yet was unaware of the strong neg views of "his" mentor and spirtual leader? Then made an analogy to an odd uncle that talks too much and your embarrassed by what he says. You don't choose your uncles but you have a choice of church and spiritual leaders. I think maybe-Birds of a Feather? Do the Obama's have a dark secret well hidden just below the surface that has just been illuminated? He was married by this preacher and his two daughters were baptised by him, yet he know nothing of the level of hatred towards Whites, Jews and America! He is down... will he rise up or be counted out. It ALL depends on how he handles this! Ive had many days and hours of thought and listen acutely to that uninvited voice in my head that's always willing to give an opinion. I'm concerned yet anxious to see how he handles what inevitably is the most serious of situations. He is at the "Fork" He alone must now make the choice, his future and the nations future can and will be altered by this choice. The chief of police in Bagdad, Iraq was arrested,after being caught in bed with 6 prostitutes! He was "escorted" to jail and has since been "stripped" of his position. Prior to his arrest he was very active in going after crime in certian areas, one of which just happend to be the brothels! And this is now solid proof that the surge is working and our Democracy has clearly been "embedded" and "embraced"! I hope he gets a "stiff" penalty and after being "inserted" into prison, I hope he finds it "Hard" doing time! The new debate is which candidates spouse is causing the most damage to their campaigns... Obama's wife gave a speech in which she was quoted as saying, "That it's the FIRST time in her adult life that she is PROUD of America" What did she mean? That never before has she been proud until her and her husband got a platform.....? I'm not sure she choose those words wisely(Every word holds tremendous power when your in the running for our next president) She would have been better off had she said, "She is now the PROUDEST of America." or "She has never been Prouder" But she didn't did she??? And Hillary needs to put a muzzle on her Husband and after his elbow to the face of a heckler maybe a straight jacket wouldn't be a bad idea.......[EMOTICON:THINK1]]

Well Roger you have just Rocketed your self right out of the Hall of Fame and secured your position pitching lies on the Hall of shame team. And Congress gave the best example we could of asked for to show why our government is broken. Even a simple hearing on a nothing(compared to real life)issue ended in no conclusion and the only proof that surfaced was that no issue is too small to boggle up with partisan politics. A recent nation wide study of teenagers found that 38% of them believe it's not just acceptable but necessary to Lie, cheat and even resort to VIOLENCE in order to achieve success today. Now, I wonder how they could have ever formed such an ugly view of the way to become successful in the dog eat dog world today? When you stand back and look, I now wonder how that number got so low? here is the Illumination- We have all seen and/or heard of someone being interviewed, after being accused of some criminal, ethical or other socially undesirable activity, only to have the accused adamantly deny any and all wrong doing. That would be followed up within days or weeks of another interview, after they know they have no chance based facts that have been brought out, were they now are on damage control. How sorry they are and how embarrassing this has all become. Apologizing for their actions and begging for forgiveness. "What tangled Webb we weave when we learn to deceive" No forgiveness or accepted apology! If, you were a person with integrity, like Andy Pennett who freely admitted what he had done and is sorry for those who got hurt. He will overcome this and his career is still intact, possibly even stronger because he stood up and didn't say, "I don't recall, I do not remember....." over time the dark cloud will dissipate. There are many more cases of our elected officials caught in Sex, lies and video but I want to cover other high profile groups that have doused the light of our moral beacon by urinating lies on it(actually some will deny this by saying they weren't urinating they were mispeeing) On to my favorite group, The Evangelist/church officials. How many preists have looked their parishioners and God in the face and deny, deny, deny! Recently the highest member of the Evangelist Church was accused of having sexual meeting with a male prostitute to smoke meth and have sex. He was confronted on national TV and of course angrely denied any wrong doing. And that the accusations must stop because of the harm "It's" (not him) is doing to his family! He makes me sick and the irony here is that if he had not publicly denounced Gays and been such a hypocrite his secret would probably still be secret. The deception that will soon come to light about misusing(stealing) church funds, to lead lavish life styles, by many TV evangilists(Congress has set up a sub-commitee to investigate) I hope they dont misinterpet their job here! Isn't funny that we dont have too many examples of Mis(anything) when you look at the music industy. Sure, Snoop Dog and Willy Nelson got arrested for weed and Amy Wynehouse was filmed smoking crack but they all accepted responsibility. Not since Milly vanilly has there been a huge scam.... Im a long way from done here....Barry Bonds, Rafeal Rimero, Micheal vick, OJ Simpson,5 time Gold medal winner Marion Jones, Most recent Tour de france winner, NFL teams cheating practices, horse racing, NBA Refs, Michael Jorden, Pete Rose, senetor Vitter, gov.Mccreavy, Ted Haskel, DC mayor Marian Berry, Detriot Mayor, Dade County police Cheif and last but surely not least Martha Stewart will all be coverd......Will the Truth set you Free? It is how ever a group that hold some type of public position that our children aspire to emmulate, idiolize or at least are fans of. Many have made multiple appearences after being accused, only to continue to lie! Does it still make us wonder how 38% of our future(children) believe it is acceptable to lie, cheat and steal to get ahead. What punisments have been delt? Suspended sentences, aquitals, pardons, community service, and in just a rare case or two here, jail time!
