SHACKLES-IT'S TIME WE STOP EXPECTING TO GET THE KEYS....
Back to Full Blog

The very moment that the shackles were removed from slavery in America they were reattached to the entire society! And the burden of those have cut a deep divide into the legs that are needed to move us forward. I think it's disgrace and saddens me deeply to be in the heated racial divide we are in at this moment in time. I have wasted too much time posting about "this"(I will never again use the ism word)all ready that could have been better served on real issues! Today, right this second, we could step out of those shackles and into a world where it only matters who you are as a person and what contributions you can make to better a world that is tearing its self apart. Crumbling at your very feet and in order to prevent a TOTAL COLLAPSE THAT WILL END ALL OUR DIFFERENCES AND PROBLEMS ALONG WITH LIFE ITSELF we will need everyone's help. Those in the world that hold the key to the locks are a relatively small group. They protect that key, because once the locks are open, they serve no purpose anymore. These self perpetuating, self serving hatemongers are fanning the flames and grinning from ear to ear, While we all dance around the bonfire covered in war paint. Why, do we have BET? Would it be all right to have WET? The million man march would not be perceived as a good thing if it was promoted as a "White" thing. It's NOT ok! I am not going to beat around the bush(I would like to beat Bush!) anymore, nor should anyone else in fear that we might be Perceived as "ist"( another word I will never use). Slavery was an evil act carried out by white men and there is no denying it. Those that refuse to give the people the key are equally as evil! Luis Farrakhan, Al Sharpton, Malik Shabaz( head of the Black Panthers)and Jeremiah Wright are those people! They must be stopped! These individuals are preventing progress and they love it! Obama HAS lost the election(A horrible shame) not because he was Black(he won Iowa and it's 97% white vote) Not because he attended a church that has a radical preacher that spews hatred, but because he is afraid of "THOSE" hate mongers! And thinks(wrong) that they are powerful enough to make or brake his run for President. Condi Rice, got where she got without them, Colin Powell got where he got without them, The CEO of one of the largest corporations in America got where he got without them, The two coaches in last years Superbowl got there without them, The commander of one of the recent shuttle missions didn't get their help! AND THEY ALL GOT WHERE THEY ARE INSPITE OF THOSE HATE MONGERS! Time to stop waiting for the key, IF we all pull together and we will snap those shackles off! Those in the "Black community" (that too must end, we must all be a community) that are trying to justify what that hateful, angry no purpose being a "Man of the Cloth" preacher said. They Jesse Jackson, Rev. Cloyd, and many others who say his words were taken "OUT OF CONTEXT"!! Was Imus's one statement taken out of context? That only bits and pieces of his sermons are being shown! Do we really need to hear more? Had that speech been in a "White" church with David Duke(KKK Grand Poo Ba) telling a white congregation everything in reverse, would that be taken "Out of Context"? Enough already!!! Wright is a person of hate and should be shunned by both communities as was Imus if we ever are to become one! And until then I will not post another word about the issue ever again! It's Ok to say that they don't want to hear that ever again, they wont be shunned from any community contrary to what a few might want them to believe!

Hello Joram, Thank you for your Blog. As you know I believe in healing the cause, not treating the symptoms or effects. The pastors views have not helped B.H.O. in his bid for the Presidency of the USA. Sometimes lifes problems open the door for new opportunities, if we view them with a positive perspective. I do not agree with you that he has lost the election, I think that it will help him win it. He is the first Presidential Candidate, in History to bring these issues into the open, to view and discuss them, and that is what his political thoughts, words and deeds are all about, opening the door for Change. We both agree that the black race hasn't had a fair deal for past 200 years. The pastor is of the old school, and the past sticks in his gullet, in the same way that the actions of the Christians (thou shalt not kill) deeds in the time of the crusades, has stayed in the memory of the Muslims. We must take care of what we affirm, in thought, word and deed, because we create these issues. Sincerely Mike

Good Morning Mikeholistic, May I call you Mike in the Future? My name is Joram....Nice to officially meet you. If, and I'm not sure the damage hasn't all ready been done, BOH is to regain the trust of the white vote(same white vote that put him in the lead and collision course with history) HE MUST ADMIT HE WAS AWARE OF THE REVERANDS ANTI-JEW, ANTI-AMERICAN, HATE OF WHITES and was wrong to have stayed in that church but now denounces aggressively that retoric from anyone. Black or White as he will serve both equally! I'm sorry(TRUELY) but if not he can kiss any hope good bye! AND I'LL LET YOU IN ON A LIITLE SECRET I HAVE.......I KNOW THATWHAT I JUST TOLD IS A FACT! can't explain how I know just except I know.......

Hello and Good evening(over here) so I guess good night! When you wake, I hope you read this first so that your day starts on a positive! You mention offending me?????? I am not offended anymore by anyone or any thing that crosses my path or crosses me........I am now, it seems, only capable of certain emotions any more. Sadness- not for me but for the world, anger- not at anyone but everyone...including me for what we have done, not done, allowed and not allowed, and still thankfully, HOPE! Hope that before it really is too late(we're gettin close) that the world will see and feel and make the changes. NO MATTER HOW HARD THOSE CHANGES ARE GOING TO BE! SO, no you didn't offend... nor would I ever think "You" would. I don't want everyone too think the same and only hang with those who do. I applaud difference in views and ideologies and religion what ever that is conceived to be......

Hello Joram, I have found that the following quotes/affirmations are helping me, I may be repeating at least one of them. 1. Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at will change. 2. Think into being is the gift of this lifelife, its so simple you could miss it, and pay dues all your life. 3. Every problem is an opportunity in disguise. 4. Your view of the world and the life that you see, is totally opposite of what it appears to be. Its not in the world that we see all the time, but is quietly happening in the back of your mind. Microsoft is causing me a great deal of trouble, but I'm learning from it. Read and enjoy. Sincerely Mike

Hi Joram, It seems that I've put too many life's, in my above comment. Talking about life, it has been reported on the News that Human Sacrifice in the Iraq war, has now reached 4,000 American lives, 100,000 wounded in mind, body and spirit and a possible 1,000,000 civilian casualties, plus animal lives, environmental and property damage, but it seems that your Vice President, couldn't care less, your administration still wants to carry on its war games, at whatever cost in lives and money. I hope that more people read your News Worthy Posts and learn by them.

I'm going to include yet another quote/affirmation on behalf of us both, by Henry W. Longfellow: "Perseverance is a great element of success. If you knock loud enough and long enough at the gate, you are sure to awaken somebody" Can You Hear Us Out there, I hope so before you vote. Sincerely Mike

Mike, Got your messages today, yet they appear to have been sent two days ago.....? I'm have many problems with my receipt of mail both e-mail and blog comments.... But I do seem to get them so please don't stop. I look forward to what you have to say each day...... Now, about the # killed in the war being 4000. Yes, this correct and death is sad when ever and where ever it takes place. I wrote a post in illumination guy's "It appears it's safer living over there" basically it illuminates that in AMERICA- Mortality(Death per 100,000/yr)Rates are at 815/100,000/yr we have 1500000 troops serving so this would mean that they all not been deployed, yet stayed in America that 6125 would have been killed or died! More on the 5 anniversary can be found in that post in Illumination guy's. Peace Joram

What are your thoughts on Sean Hannity saying hypothetically based question that " if Obama shares the same views as his Pastor then he is a racist and Anti-Semite". For years Black people and Jews have been calling out many presidents on this but it situation but it is now big news because of Obama. Whit I feel as if America is still not ready for a Black President. If Obama does make it I fear assignation and I don't want that to happen we are already in a recession must there be a racial rift too? In one hand I think Obama should just wait and see what the super delegates have to say in the other I want change. This is the whole situation were the greater good comes into play. Black president might equal race wars and death of Obama due to the recession lack of money made whites dislike blacks and immigrants in the past. How will they react in this day and age were the same anger and hatred is still a forefront to all big decisions. An Obama presidency might mean a real change in the minds of the people and the world that America is for a better future groundbreaking just like the past presumption of USA. Part of me says he should back off and run for president another day. The other part says pursue the dream and make positive history in my lifetime. No one knows what the future hold all we can do is wait and pray for a better day when we wake up.

I just believe that most black people such as the Colin Powell's anc COndi are the selective few. This are what we call house negros, the black people who adapted to the white system and are now acceptable to the white community. Here is an example look at the movie grease or westside story. Better yet the movie Cry Baby not being accepted with all of the traditions you grew up with. I have walked down the street many time and women clutch their purses real tight and I've walked in many stores were security follow me to make sure i did not steal anything. All because I do not fit the profile that meets the acceptable level of white america. I am all for education and social reform. I am proud to see black people well groomed and highly regarded as and intellectuals. But being from my hood and the bottom of the ladder you get treated like dirt because of where you from and how you look. the whole att thing was a true case of inventing the bad guy. When my grandmother had her fight with cancer I asked for help instead they made it look like I am more harm then good for the comapany by switching my schedules to disrupt my home responsiblities. No one believed me when I claimed innocense for call outs and tardies because they wrote it down and i had no written proof. No one believed me when I claimed inncense when I was accused of harasment I was suspended then fired. My race had a major role in it and the one black person in management basically threw me to the wolves becuase he was scared he might get railroaded too. I am all for change and equallity I do not agree with all of the nation of Islams sayings but most of the pro black comments are self evidant. I do not agree with Rev wright because I love america and I want God to continueosly bless this country because it gives hope to many of the people who are in worst situations then us. I only dis agree with ignoring the race issue and moving forward we must address it in a civilized manner and heal old wounds in order to move forward together.

Yes it is all the talks in black politics today because many members felt they were more qualified then they. I really don't care all people are people to me wether accepted of not. Al gore was my vote and Howard Dean they both are not even considering the position. Nader has good views but not the it factor.

That is the problem, you nailed it! When ever a "black" person is not chosen for a position, like the one's you just mentioned in your comment, they immediately look for an excuse (racism) for the reason. Maybe they just were not as qualified or as good as the other applicant and thats it, they just need to except as others due and try and improve on oneself. Even in the situation you spoke of, were a black was choosen (C.Rice) over other blacks, they use the excuse those given the job were done so because they were "house negros" and sucked up to whites. You must be able to see it ....don't you? Come on say it......yesa massa I can seez it now! Untill yoy change how you look at things... the look of things will never change!
